Founder and CEO Rita Tersio launched Ritacou in November 2019. Born and raised in Rome, she developed a passion for fashion, design, and sustainability. Rita immigrated to the US in 1997 to study at the University of Maryland. She now lives in Virginia where she runs Ritacou.
Ritacou’s goal is to make top-quality Italian revived couture available and affordable to people of all shapes and sizes. Through the sale of clothes and the experience of in-home fashion shows Ritacou’s biggest mission is to promote connection and self-expression and the power of unique, beautiful clothing

Every item is inspected and reviewed to ensure top quality and authentication. It is checked in Italy by our buyer and then when it is received in the US we inspect everything again here.
